POON CHOI 盆菜 ·盆滿缽滿 remains a popular Cantonese dish that is eaten to celebrate the Chinese New Year. 🎉🎉

It is usually served in large metal basins due to the traditional, communal style of consumption. The STEAMKING POON CHOI includes rich ingredients ranging from abalone, shark fin, fish maw, prawn, dried mushroom, dried scallop, squid, duck, pork, dried shrimp, pigskin, bean curd to Chinese white radish. Dry ingredients, such as the seafood, is placed on the top whilst ingredients that absorb sauce well are assigned to the bottom of the basin. This allows the sauces to not only flow down but be soaked up, creating an overall rich and flavourful dish.
